Sr. Manager, Business Development and Sales (CTG)

Your Role and Responsibilities
As the Sr. Manager, Business Development and Sales, you will be responsible for leading the development of strategic partnerships and customized business-to-government solutions, business-to-business, business-to-consumer leveraging your extensive expertise in company development. With a deep understanding of government procurement processes, you will drive international market expansion, increase sales, and promote comprehensive job readiness solutions that empower workers to excel and advance in their careers.
Strategic Leadership & Planning
  • Formulate and execute comprehensive global marketing strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
  • Develop detailed marketing and sales plans to achieve revenue goals and expand the market share of Job Ready at Work products.
  • Conduct market trend analysis, competitive landscape assessment, and customer insights to guide strategic planning.
  • Perform market research to identify competitive opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to synchronize sales and marketing efforts with company-wide objectives and product roadmap.

Group Leadership
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within a team of marketing and sales professionals.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members to enhance their skills, productivity, and professional growth.
  • Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance benchmarks, monitoring progress to ensure alignment with company goals.

Sales Enablement
  • Design and implement initiatives that strengthen the sales team, enhancing revenue through resources, tools, and training.
  • Develop sales materials and presentations.
  • Collaborate with product development and management teams to align product offerings with market demands.
  • Craft value propositions, marketing campaigns, and pricing strategies to effectively position Job Ready at Work solutions in the market.

Account Management
  • Manage all facets of the sales cycle, including contract negotiations, prospecting, and post-sale support.
  • Identify and execute successful sales opportunities.
  • Achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.

Global Marketing Team Management
  • Lead and direct a diverse, global marketing team.
  • Set and evaluate clear performance goals for team members.
  • Promote a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging open communication and idea exchange.

Budget Management
  • Develop and oversee marketing budgets to ensure resource efficiency.
  • Allocate resources strategically for maximum impact on marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor expenditures and analyze ROI to optimize budget use.

Stakeholder Engagement
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, product, and finance teams.
  • Work with regional marketing teams to tailor global strategies to local markets.
  • Represent the marketing department in leadership meetings, providing insights and updates.

Customer Acquisition & Retention
  • Lead customer acquisition efforts through strategic partnerships, targeted marketing campaigns, and lead generation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key influencers, decision-makers, and clients to foster product adoption and retention.
  • Implement customer retention strategies to enhance satisfaction, loyalty, and lifetime value.

Performance Analysis & Reporting
  • Establish critical performance metrics to gauge marketing and sales initiative effectiveness and promote ongoing improvement.
  • Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to uncover optimization and innovation opportunities.
  • Produce regular reports and presentations to communicate sales performance and market insights to senior leadership.

Business Development
  • Spearheaded the identification and pursuit of government sector opportunities aligned with organizational strategic goals.
  • Engage efficiently with high-level government officials.
  • Build and sustain relationships with key government agency stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and draft agreements for B2G partnerships, contracts, and procurement opportunities, facilitating business development endeavors.
  • Navigate the intricacies of government procurement processes, enabling them to identify and pursue lucrative business opportunities within the public sector.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with B2G engagements, safeguarding business interests, and minimizing potential liabilities.

Relationship Management
  • Maintain lasting relationships with government clients, positioning the company as a trusted advisor and partner.
  • Ensure client needs are met and expectations exceeded as the primary point of contact.

Market Analysis & Strategy
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the government sector.
  • evelop and refine go-to-market strategies for government products based on market demands and trends.
  • Stay informed about policy and regulatory changes affecting government procurement.

Client Identification & Research
  • Perform market research to identify potential government sector clients and understand their needs.
  • Build trust with decision-makers and government entities.

Proposal Development & Negotiation
  • Craft compelling proposals for government clients.
  • Negotiate contract terms and maintain effective stakeholder communication.
  • Form strategic partnerships to drive business growth.

RFP Management
  • Meticulously reviews RFPs and EOIs to ensure that proposed solutions or expressions of interest comply with applicable laws, regulations, and contractual requirements.
  • Identify potential legal risks associated with RFPs and EOIs, such as liability exposure or contractual disputes, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks. Create detailed responses to RFPs, collaborating with cross-functional teams for accurate and complete proposals.
  • Oversee the RFP submission process, ensuring adherence to deadlines and requirements.

  • Implement strategies to nurture leads through the sales process, from initial contact to conversion, optimizing for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Utilize data analytics to track and analyze pipeline metrics, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing sales performance.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to prioritize leads, allocate resources effectively, and drive towards achieving sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Regular monitoring of project progress is essential to stay on track. Updates are provided to both internal stakeholders and the client to maintain transparency and manage expectations.

B2G Business Development and Sales
  • Negotiate and draft agreements for B2G partnerships, contracts, and procurement opportunities, facilitating business development endeavors.
  • Track record of accomplishment in company development for the B2G industry with an emphasis on workforce development programs.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with B2G engagements, safeguarding business interests, and minimizing potential liabilities.

Identifying and understanding government needs
  • This includes researching to comprehend the specific requirements and challenges faced by various government agencies.

Proposal development
  • Crafting detailed proposals in response to government requests for proposals (RFPs), which requires a deep understanding of the procurement process.

Establishing relationships
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with government officials and decision-makers.

Market research
  • Conducting thorough market research to align business offerings with government objectives and policies.

Contract management
  • Overseeing the bidding process, contract negotiations, and management of awarded government contracts.

B2C Marketing and Sales
  • Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns to reach individual job seekers.
  • Manage social media presence and online advertising campaigns.
  • Develop content marketing strategies to attract and engage potential customers.
  • Oversee lead generation and nurturing efforts for individual sales.
  • Design and implement sales funnels to convert leads into paying customers.
  • Manage pricing strategies for B2C products and services.
  • Partner with the B2B sales team to identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities.

JobReady@Campus (JRC) Partnerships with Universities, Colleges, and Polytechnics
  • Develop strategies to roll out JRC.
  • Conduct Bootcamps, workshops, etc to generate leads.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key personnel at partner institutions.
  • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements.
  • Oversee the implementation of JobReady@Campus programs at partner institutions.
  • Track and measure the success of JRC programs, including student participation rates and job placement outcomes.
  • Identify and develop new partnership opportunities with educational institutions.

B2B – JobReady@Work (JRW) Business Development and Sales
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for JobReady@Work solutions targeted towards businesses.
  • Identify and qualify potential B2B leads.
  • Manage the sales cycle for B2B opportunities, including prospecting, qualification, presentations, negotiations, and closing deals.
  • Develop and deliver customized proposals for B2B clients.
  • Foster long-term relationships with key decision-makers at client companies.

Overall Management of Ctg Branch
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Ctg branch team.
  • Oversee all aspects of branch operations, including sales, marketing, customer service, accounts & administration.
  • Set performance goals and objectives for the branch team.
  • Monitor and track branch performance against key metrics.
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve branch efficiency and effectiveness.

Administrative Tasks
  • Manage and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Schedule appointments and meetings.
  • Prepare presentations and reports.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Travel to various locations and cities within the country to meet with clients and partners (if applicable).
