Intern, Grant Marketing Proposals and Content Writer

Your Role and Responsibilities
We’re seeking a Grant Marketing Content and Proposals Intern to help the team create competitive marketing content and appealing proposals. This position requires you to assist with various content production including articles, blog posts, website copy, social media content, research, visual graphics, and more. This position requires you to develop contents that should captivate the target audience, convey key messages effectively and contribute to the organization’s content strategy. This internship is an excellent opportunity to obtain practical experience in marketing strategy, content generation, and project management, allowing you to build a strong foundation in this field

The following list of typical responsibilities you will take on is indicative, not exhaustive. You’ll have a reasonable workload that can assure high-quality results
  • Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience
  • Assist in creating engaging SEO-focused marketing content across various platforms that align with the company’s brand voice and marketing objectives
  • Design visually appealing graphics like social media visuals, and banners using Adobe Creative Cloud Software
  • Conduct research, development, and preparation of proposals for both global and local customers and funding providers like big international corporations, NGOs, governments, investors, and grant makers
  • Maintain and update existing websites, ensuring consistent design standards and branding guidelines
  • Review and edit marketing materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency
  • Ensure that content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent voice and style. Verify factual information and cite sources when necessary
Qualifications and Skills

  • Graduate in Marketing, Communications or any related field
  • Must be from English medium background with O/A level qualifications
  • Proficient in graphics design software such as Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator
Preferred
If you have the following skills/competence, you’ll have a competitive advantage in our selection process compared to others:
  • Familiarity with content management systems and collaborative tools
  • Good knowledge of WordPress
