Cinematographer / Videographer & Editor

Your Role and Responsibilities
The following list of key responsibility areas (KRAs) and responsibilities you will take
on is indicative, not exhaustive. You’ll have a reasonable workload that can assure
high-quality results.
  • Idea Creation, Work with the creative team to generate innovative and visually compelling ideas for storytelling, shot composition, and overall visual style
  • Storyboarding, Contribute to the development of storyboards, collaborating with the creative team to plan shot sequences and visualize the narrative
  • Cinematography, Capture high-quality, cinematic footage that aligns with the creative vision of each project
  • Camera Operation, Operate a variety of cameras and equipment, ensuring technical proficiency and optimal shot composition
  • Lighting, Design and set up lighting schemes that enhance the visual impact of each scene while maintaining consistency with the overall aesthetic
  • Collaboration, Work closely with the team members to understand and contribute to the overall creative vision of the project
  • Problem Solving, Proactively identify and address technical and creative challenges to ensure smooth production processes
  • Equipment Management, Oversee and maintain camera equipment, ensuring it is in optimal condition for each shoot
  • Research and Development, Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and cinematography techniques to continually enhance skills and contribute fresh ideas to projects
  • Video Editing Mastery, Skillfully transform raw footage into a polished final product using editing software, ensuring seamless visuals, audio coherence, and alignment with project objectives
  • Post-Production Collaboration, Work closely with the editing team to ensure the seamless transition from shooting to post-production while preserving the intended creative vision
Qualifications and Skills
Mandatory
To qualify to enter the selection process for this job, you must meet the following minimum criteria. Please DO NOT apply if you do not meet these criteria:
  • Proven experience as a Cinematographer in digital content production.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of cinematography work.
  • Proficiency in operating a variety of cameras, lenses, and other cinematography equipment.
  • Solid understanding of lighting techniques and the ability to adapt to different lighting conditions.
  • Experience in storyboarding and visual narrative planning.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with post-production processes and collaboration with the editing team.
  • Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in cinematography.
  • Degree in Cinematography, Film Production, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred
If you have the following skills/competence, you’ll have a competitive advantage in our selection process compared to others:
  • A Master's degree or higher in Cinematography, Film Production, or a related field is preferred. Advanced education demonstrates a commitment to continuous learning and a deeper understanding of the craft
