Your Role and Responsibilities
You will also need to create various content development including articles, blog posts, website copy, social media content, research, visual graphics, and more.
The following list of typical responsibilities you will take on is indicative, not exhaustive. You’ll have a reasonable workload that can assure high-quality results.
Content Development
- Formulate content pillars including goals, objectives and strategies, and present creative concepts.
- Research industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to develop relevant and compelling content.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with brand messaging and business objectives.
- Generate engaging and high-quality content across various platforms including website, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and marketing materials.
- Create engaging SEO-focused marketing content across various platforms that align with the company’s brand voice and marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements, objectives, target audience and to ensure content accuracy, clarity, and consistency while adhering the brand guidelines and messaging strategies.
- Contribute creative ideas for content development to enhance overall quality and user engagement.
- Maintain and update existing websites, ensuring consistent design standards and branding guidelines.
Social Media Management
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads.
- Set clear goals and KPIs for social media performance and monitor metrics to track progress and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Create original, engaging content for social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) that aligns with brand voice and objectives.
- Curate relevant content from various sources to supplement the content calendar and maintain a consistent posting schedule.
- Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, and respond promptly to inquiries and customer feedback.
- Cultivate and nurture online communities by organizing contests, polls, and other engagement initiatives.
Demand Generation
- Develop and implement demand generation strategies and campaigns to drive customer acquisition and qualified leads.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, customer service to develop and optimize marketing programs.
- Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel campaigns, including email marketing, social media advertising, webinars, events, etc.
- Develop in collaboration with the Marketing team, compelling messaging and positioning that effectively connects with the customers, and aligns with CodersTrust’s unique value proposition.
- Develop and maintain relationships with partners, influencers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends and stay up-to-date on new technologies and techniques.
- Identify and resolve challenges and conflicts within the process.
- Provide training and support to team members as required on demand generation best practices and tools.
- Analyze and report on key metrics and KPIs like leads, conversions, and revenue to measure the effectiveness of demand generation activities.
- Oversee demand generation budgets and forecasts.
Public Relations
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, bloggers, and other media professionals to secure media coverage for the organization.
- Write and edit press releases, media pitches, articles, blog posts, and other written materials to communicate key messages and news announcements.
- Develop compelling story angles and narratives that resonate with target audiences and align with the organization’s brand and objectives.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage, social media conversations, and online reviews to assess public sentiment and proactively address any negative perceptions or issues.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, industry influencers, and community organizations.
Research and Analysis
- Conduct research, development, and preparation of proposals for both global and local customers and funding providers like big international corporations, NGOs, governments, investors, and grant makers.
- Provide data-driven insights to enhance the effectiveness of content strategies.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and incorporate findings into content development and demand generation.
Visual Graphics
- Collaborate with graphic designers to create visually appealing content.
- Design visually appealing graphics like social media visuals, and banners using Adobe Creative Cloud Software.
- Assist in selecting and editing images, infographics, and other visual elements.
- Ensure visual content aligns with brand aesthetics and enhances overall user experience.
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights.
- Collaborate with content editors, designers, and marketing teams to maintain consistency in messaging and branding.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on content objective, timeline and demand generation initiatives.
Quality Assurance
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Review and edit marketing materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Ensure that content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent voice and style. Verify factual information and cite sources when necessary.
- Participate in regular content audits to maintain high-quality standards.
Qualifications and Skills
Mandatory
- Graduate in Marketing, Communications or any related field.
- 7+ years of experience in demand generation and content developing field.
- Must be from an English medium background with O/A level qualifications/ Fluency in English language is a must.
- Proficient in marketing content writing and graphics design software such as Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Experience is developing content in a digital marketing context particularly SEO-optimized content.
Preferred
- Familiarity with content management systems and collaborative tools.
- Good knowledge of WordPress.
- Familiar with video editing using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premier or DaVinci.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience analyzing data and making data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change.
- A desire to learn and grow in the demand generation field.
