Adaptation and Skill Advancement for a Pandemic Reality development
BRAC is the largest NGO of the world. The objective of the BRAC-funded pilot project “STRONG-IT” was to provide online training to 850 young people in Bangladesh and enhance their IT skills, to adapt to the new-normal world during COVID.

- Graduated Trainees: 850
- Successful Job Placement: 476
- Successful job placement during the course itself 20.85%
- 56% of them secured employment in different national and international marketplaces and doing full-time jobs.
- Despite the lockdowns and social distancing measures in place during COVID-19, there have been great positive impacts on household income
- Freelancing provided hope for our learners during the COVID-19 pandemic
