CodersTrust and LEEDO Collaborate to Extend ICT Education to Street Children, Empowering the Underprivileged
CodersTrust, a prominent EduTech Company, has embarked on an initiative to provide information technology training to underprivileged street children in Dhaka, aiming to empower them and foster self-reliance. This collaborative effort is being carried out in cooperation with LEEDO, an organization dedicated to the well-being and support of street children.
To facilitate the training program, a dedicated computer lab has been established at the LEEDO Peace Home in Bosila, Dhaka. The lab is equipped with 20 desktop computers, chairs, tables, and other necessary materials, generously provided by CodersTrust.
The first batch of students will undergo a comprehensive three-month training program, which will equip them with essential IT skills and knowledge. The aim is to prepare these underprivileged children and youth for a brighter future, instilling in them self-esteem, confidence, and a sense of participation in the digital world.
The inauguration ceremony of the Dhaka lab witnessed the presence of esteemed guests, including Aziz Ahmad, Chairman of CodersTrust, and Md Abdul Halim, retired Brigadier General and Senior Advisor of CodersTrust Bangladesh. Forhad Hossain, CEO and Founder of LEEDO, chaired the event, while Shibli Zaman, the Social Welfare Officer of Savar Upazila, graced the occasion as a special guest.
Abdul Halim expressed that CodersTrust has been diligently providing ICT training in various professions throughout Bangladesh, fostering self-reliance among individuals. This collaborative effort with LEEDO represents another significant stride toward empowering underprivileged children and creating a more inclusive and digitally skilled society.
Through this partnership, CodersTrust and LEEDO are making substantial strides in extending IT education to those who need it the most, creating opportunities for a brighter future for the underprivileged street children of Dhaka.
