Tech Lead (PHP-WordPress-WooCommerce-Shopify)

Your Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead in PHP, WordPress, Shopify and WooCommerce to join our dynamic team who will play a critical role in overseeing and managing our e-commerce platforms with WooCommerce portals. You will also be responsible for maintaining high availability (HA) of our WordPress deployments in AWS and ensuring automated disaster recovery (DR) processes are in place.

The following list of typical responsibilities you will take on is indicative, not exhaustive. You’ll have a reasonable workload that can assure high-quality results.

Provide in-depth technical leadership and support for WooCommerce and shopify-based e-commerce platforms, ensuring their optimal performance, security, and scalability
Lead the deployment of High-Availability WordPress solutions in AWS, guaranteeing 24/7 availability and seamless user experiences
Develop and maintain automated disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss in case of system failures
Contribute to the architecture design and development of E Commerce portals, with raw PHP (optionally Laravel)
Define and execute the technical strategy for Shopify and WooCommerce platforms, ensuring they align with business objectives and industry best practices
Ensure the highest levels of security and compliance on all e-commerce platforms, staying current with industry standards and trends
Design and develop custom Shopify/WordPress themes and plugins to meet business requirements
Integrate third-party services and APIs to enhance functionality and user experience
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to platforms and integrations
