“We have every trust in CodersTrust” – says Zunaid Ahmed Palak, State Minister for ICT Division, Bangladesh

CodersTrust, a globally reputed EduTech Company, made a significant impact at the ICT Freelancing Camp and Job Festival 2023, held on February 17th and 18th at Gol-e Afroj Govt school premise in Singra, Natore. The event, aimed at nurturing and empowering aspiring ICT freelancers, drew thousands of enthusiastic youths.

ICT State Minister Junaid Ahmed Palak, MP, expressed his pride and trust in CodersTrust during his visit to their stall at the festival venue. He commended the organization for its commitment to providing quality IT training, stating, “We have every trust in CodersTrust, and we believe our youths will receive real quality IT training from them.”

Under a vast pavilion, the state minister interacted with participants, sharing words of encouragement and taking selfies with them, as they displayed victory signs. The atmosphere was brimming with joy, enthusiasm, and a shared commitment among the attendees to pursue ICT freelancing as their career path.

During the program, the state minister distributed certificates to 950 trainees who participated in the freelancing camp. In his speech, he urged all the youths of his constituency to seize the opportunity to become freelancers, assuring them that no one would remain unemployed in Bangladesh. He emphasized the country’s progress in the field of ICT under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

CodersTrust Chairman Aziz Ahmad took to social media to congratulate State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak MP for organizing the event. He acknowledged the government’s efforts in building a digital workforce and expressed pride in CodersTrust’s role in enhancing the stature of the institute as the best skill and digital human resources training institute locally and globally.

The festival saw the participation of nearly two dozen organizations, authorities, institutions, and companies, all showcasing their IT support and services. CodersTrust set up a stall that attracted a large number of visitors. More than 500 youths dropped their resumes into CodersTrust’s ‘Resume Box’ and engaged in conversations with the organization’s mentors at the program venue.

CodersTrust mentor Soummo Supriya delivered a presentation on ‘In-demand Skills,’ encouraging participants to be forward-thinking in selecting their IT learning topics and platforms. CodersTrust Country Director Ataul Gani Osmani joined a panel discussion on skill development and overcoming barriers in freelancing.

Singra UNO Mahmuda Khatun presided over the program, while Humayun Kabir, Project Director of the Learning & Earning Development Project under the ICT division, Upazila Awami League President Sheikh Obaidur Rahman, and Municipality Mayor Zannatul Ferdous shared their insights and perspectives on the occasion. The festival served as a platform to inspire and equip young talents with the necessary skills for a successful career in the thriving field of ICT freelancing.
